Wanhua-BorsodChem Scholarship program

 A leader on Europe’s market in MDI, TDI, PVC production and chloralkaline processing Wanhua BorsodChem Zrt. announces its schol- arship program during the spring of 2012, for Graduate Students (MSc. and PhD.) in the specializations of Chemical Technology and Polymer Engineering of the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering of the University of Miskolc.

Our company, Wanhua-BorsodChem is a leading European producer of MDI, TDI and PVC resins as well as base and specialty chemicals. We supply high quality raw materials for all kinds of goods in a wide range of industries including: appliances, automo- tive, beverage, building and construction, clothing and footwear, electric and electronics, furniture and bedding, packaging, paints and coatings, pharmaceuticals and rubber. Your application for the Wanhua-BorsodChem Scholarship Program gets preference, if:

  • Your grade average in the last two semesters is at least, or higher than 4.0
  • You are specializing during your Materials Engineering Masters studies in one of the following fields:
  • Chemical Technology or Polymer Engineering (for PhD. student their former Masters specialization)
  • Student Research work (TDK) related to the Chemical industry
  • Fluent English
  • You are supported by the Faculty’s Dean

What do we offer?

  • The accepted students participate in a 1+3 months internship (1 month BorsodChem, 3 months Wanhua, China, expected to start September 1. 2012,), organized by Wanhua-BosrodChem Zrt., gathering important professional, industrial experiences and skills.
  • Transportation, lodging and meals are covered, Scholarship

Applications will be evaluated by a Scholarship Committee of Wanhua-BorsodChem and University of Miskolc. The awarded Scholar- ships are provided by Wanhua-BorsodChem.

Deadline for submitting applications to the Wanhua-BorsodChem Scholarship program is: May 31. 2012, (Thursday)

Wanua-BorsodChem will present the professional aspects of the program on at 1:00 pm. May 15. 2012 (Tuesday), Káldor Mihály lecturing room, B/1. bld. Groundfloor, room 9.
